To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Sales Engineer (m/f/d) who understands technical concepts, actively builds customer relationships, and enjoys guiding projects from the initial idea through to successful completion.


Your Responsibilities

In this high-responsibility role, you will manage and further develop existing client relationships while acquiring new clients and securing exciting projects. You will analyze technical requirements, provide solution-oriented advice to our clients, and develop customized proposals for specific applications in water and wastewater treatment.

In doing so, you will oversee projects from the initial contact through proposal and contract negotiations to successful completion. Working closely with R&D, design, production, and management, you will ensure that technical requirements are transformed into compelling solutions. Additionally, you will monitor market and technology trends and actively contribute your insights to the further development of our sales team.


What you bring to the role


You have completed a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, process engineering or hold a comparable technical qualification. You enjoy working with customers, have a strong interest in challenging technical topics and communicate confidently with stakeholders at different levels.


Ideally, you bring several years of experience in technical sales, project sales or application engineering – preferably in the field of membrane systems, water treatment or zero liquid discharge. More important to us, however, are your technical understanding, structured way of working and willingness to take responsibility.


With strong communication and presentation skills, you engage with customers in a confident and professional manner. You work independently, think solution-oriented and keep a clear overview even in complex projects. Willingness to travel as part of customer support, as well as fluent German and English skills, complete your profile.
